Organized entirely by neighborhood volunteers, this beloved event is back for its 15th year! Join your neighbors on Saturday, October 22, from 1-4pm on the Café Lawn in Ft. Tryon Park. There will be plenty of activities for both kids and adults alike – crafts and games, the ever-popular cupcake table, a pumpkin carving contest, pie contest, and more! Update: the Harvest Festival will take place on Sunday, October 23 due to Saturday's forecast.
The Y of Washington Heights will be sponsoring a Kindergarten Fair on October 27th at 6:00pm. For information, please contact Susan Herman, Director of Early Childhood Services - email@example.com.
The ‘Leaderless Coalition’ is busy organizing the 11th annual Washington Heights Halloween Parade! The parade is held on October 31, with folks gathering around 6pm on Cabrini Boulevard (near PS/IS 187) to make their way to Linden Terrance in Ft. Tryon Park. New York Youth Symphony Concert
The New York Youth Symphony will be performing at the United Palace of Cultural Arts on Sunday, November 6 - doors open at 4:30pm, followed by the concert at 5:00pm. This is the 3rd time the orchestra has performed at UPCA, and the concert is FREE!
