As the year concludes, the PTO board extends a heartfelt THANK YOU for your unwavering support of the PTO. Your contributions have allowed us to continue to enrich student's educational journeys at PS-IS 187.
● After-School Programming: $26,000 funded 29 subjects, 10-week sessions, benefiting 430+ students.
● Elementary School: 15 classes for K-4th Grades, including Dance, Yoga, Art, and more, serving 190 students.
● Middle School: 14 classes for 5th-8th Grades, including Chess, Soccer, Talent Show, and more, benefiting 241 students.
● School Garden Program: $4,500 created a vibrant curriculum integrating science, art, and
creativity.
● Educational Enhancement Grants: $600 supported teacher projects, fostering innovation.
● Honoring Ms. Douglas: A heartfelt thank you for contributing to the gift in Fort Tryon Park. An official dedication is scheduled for 2024.
Looking ahead to spring, we are excited about offering more after-school programs and continued enrichment. Most PTO donations come from individuals like you, making a difference with amounts such as $25, $50, and $100.
