AFTER SCHOOL IN THE FOREST!
Warm weather is just around the corner! What better way to celebrate than to enroll your child in After School in the Forest in Fort Tryon Park.
Pickup Available From PS 187!
After School in the Forest is a wonderful experience where the children explore, play, and imagine outdoors for the entire class time. Parents and caregivers bring their children to meet their teachers at the entrance of Ft. Tryon park at Margaret Corbin Circle. From there they will head to open places with rocks, logs, sticks, and leaves, all ripe for the children to create the worlds of their imaginations, look at nature, and be physically active.
There are wonderful climbing trees, which become whatever your child imagines, while sharing that space with old and/or new friends. Children will get to strengthen their social-emotional skills. Teachers lead group games and activities daily.
Schedule
Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 2:45 to 5:00 PM (Pickup from PS 187 starts at 2:15 PM)
Note: Wednesdays can be added to the schedule if there is enough interest.
Tuition through June 24
5 afternoons/wk. $ 2,142.00. +$390 for pickup from PS 187
4 afternoons/wk. $ 1,756.00. +$312 for pickup from PS 187
3 afternoons/wk. $ 1,350.00 +$234 for pickup from PS 187
2 afternoons/wk. $ 920.00. +$156 for pickup from PS 187
