KidFit is a free community wellness fair organized by the PS187 PTO Wellness Committee in partnership with the YM & YWHA. Our goal is to encourage kids - and grown ups - to embrace healthier habits and to gain tools to do so in a fun and engaging way.

Last year, we welcomed over 150 kids and their families to take part in free sports clinics, yoga classes, cooking demos, fun "Get Moving!" activities, and to discover healthy tips and ideas at the Wellness Fair.

This year, we will once again be transforming the YM&YWHA into a health and fitness discovery zone! A diverse array of demos and activities will take place across two floors for families to enjoy. Scroll down to check out the KidFit 2019 program participants or click here to view the events schedule.

To really enjoy your time, don't forget to wear comfortable shoes/clothing, bring a water bottle to re-fill, and be ready to have fun! We do ask that all children be accompanied by a supervising adult.

KidFit is free and open to the community. So, grab your friends and come to the YM&YWHA on Sunday, February 3rd, 2019 from 2pm-5pm to join in the fun!

Save yourself some time and fill our your waver form ahead of time. You can download it here. And, if you are a PS187 student, don't forget your KidFit Challenge sheet!
