Hudson Cliffs Track

Track Team Highlights
Track at 187 has become a huge phenomenon!  In 2016-2017,  50 students participated and through the generous funding of the PTO, this past year's track team consists of 90  3rd-8th grade students.  The runners have participated in the New York Road Runners Rising Stars Jamboree at the Fort Washington Ave. Armory, (We even made it onto the NYRR twitter feed!), and in the 400m and 1500m races through Central Park that ended at the official New York Marathon finish line.  8th grade, Esme Brayshaw qualified to run in a 1.7 mile race right before the marathon.  Special thanks to coaches Ms. Douglas, Ms. Defranca, Ms. Burley, Ms. Kugler and all the parent volunteers!  The fall track season ended Sunday, November 19th at 8am with the Fred Lebow Cross Country Championship at Van Cortlandt Park.
