Friends of 187 is a non-profit organization (501c3), founded by 187 Parents in 2008, separate from the PTO, that raises funds for enrichment programming within the school day in the arts, literacy and foreign language. "Friends" works closely with the administration, School Leadership Team and teachers to identify and successfully integrate this programming within the school day.
